We are looking for a professional Purchasing Manager who will be responsible for managing a specific group or category of products within the company. Your main responsibilities will include analyzing industry and consumer trends, developing strategies, and overseeing pricing, promotions, and product management to maximize sales and profitability.You should have extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment. A commercial mindset and a comprehensive understanding of marketing and sales principles are essential. Exceptional communication skills are also crucial for purchasing managers.The goal is to increase sales and business profitability to drive sustainable growth.

What you'll get to do...

Procurement & Supplier Management

• Develop and implement strategic purchasing plans aligned with business needs.

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure the best terms (price, quality, and delivery).

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring long-term partnerships and favorable agreements.

• Monitor supplier performance, ensuring adherence to quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Inventory & Cost Optimization

• Oversee inventory levels to avoid overstocking or shortages while maintaining optimal stock availability.

• Analyze market trends and assess risks to ensure cost-effective purchasing.

• Collaborate with production and sales teams to forecast demand and procurement needs.

• Implement cost-saving initiatives and identify opportunities to improve purchasing efficiency.

Contract & Compliance Management

• Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

• Ensure all purchasing activities adhere to legal requirements, ethical standards, and sustainability goals.

Operational Efficiency & Reporting

• Use procurement software and ERP systems to manage purchasing operations.

• Prepare regular reports on purchasing performance, cost analysis, and supplier evaluations.

• Continuously improve purchasing processes, identifying and implementing best practices.

Your experience should include...

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Fluent in English and Romanian; knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Strong analytical skills and ability to forecast market trends and supplier performance.

You might also have...

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, preferably in the interior design, furniture, or manufacturing industries.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
